A home collection brings the lab to you: a trained phlebotomist comes to your door at the time you choose, takes your sample, and your report reaches you in the app. Here is what happens at each step.
1. Booking
- Choose your city, then your tests or a package. The price shown is your city's price.
- Enter your address and pick a date and time slot. You can book for family members in the same visit.
- Pay securely online. Your booking appears in the Bookings tab straight away.
2. The day before
- If any of your tests need fasting, the app reminds you the evening before, with how many hours to go without food. Plain water is always fine.
- Keep taking your regular medicines unless your doctor has said otherwise.
3. The visit
- Your booking shows a four-digit OTP. Share it with the phlebotomist when they arrive: it confirms they are at the right booking.
- Wear a top with loose sleeves, sit comfortably, and drink a glass of water beforehand: it makes the sample easier to draw.
- The needle and tubes should come sealed and be opened in front of you.
- Taking the sample takes a few minutes. Press on the spot for a minute or two afterwards to avoid a bruise.
4. Your report
- Your sample is taken to the lab for testing. Each test's page in the app shows how long its report usually takes.
- When your report is ready, you get a notification, and it appears in the Reports tab to view, download or share with your doctor.
- Trends in the Reports tab shows how a result has changed across your past tests.
